EN – Sensation: Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. sends urgent application against the EU Commission to the European Court of Justice

As has just been reported, Deutsche Umwelthilfe has initiated legal action against the EU Commission with an urgent application

Reason:

The Commission is accused of pursuing democratically non-legitimised strategic industrial goals by means of false pretences. The violation of the precept of technological openness forces the industry into transformations that delay the energy turnaround due to the competitive relationship between charging power and fossil power displacement. Due to the lower cost efficiency, the community suffers considerable economic damage; the wasted funds are also lacking in the financing of ecologically and economically sensible measures.

Above all, it is demanded that the Commissioner Frans Timmermanns, who is currently mainly responsible for the comprehensive deception of the public *), be relieved of his duties with immediate effect and that an investigation be initiated on suspicion of fraud.

In order to prevent further damage and to give the transport turnaround a direction that actually reduces greenhouse gas emissions as quickly as possible, rapid intervention by the ECJ is necessary. The Court may further order

– Replace all members of working groups who participated in the cover-up of real emissions by applying the average instead of the marginal electricity mix with proven experts of integrity

– to exclude all institutions that have legitimised these activities with expert opinions from the current projects and not to take them into account when awarding future contracts.

We will report on the progress of the matter.

*) Example: E-cars are classified as zero-emission vehicles despite the greenhouse gas emissions of additional electricity production.

Note: This is satire. Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. would never do such a thing.
